My MIL lives in a small village. She is 87 and pretty active for her age. Problem is she has lots of deer in her yard and garden. But the real problem is they come right up to the house and look in the window and scar the crap out of her. Any suggestion how to scare them away?

Going to have to knock one on it's ass in front of the others. Can she still swing a baseball bat?
Just this morning had someone tell me they solved their lakeside goose problem of many years. It took a paintball gun and hitting one in the head. Two weeks and the geese haven't been back to that yard.

A bar of Irish Spring Soap and a whittling knife will keep them away. I suppose "deer away" or other scents will too?

How about making a scarecrow looking like Joe Biden, that should do it.
They make sprays you can get at Menards which work pretty good.

I use Deer Out to keep deer from eating our ornamentals. I'm not sure if spraying it around the house would keep the deer from looking in the windows though.

A dog is probably not a good thing for someone her age but it could help with deer. The few years we had between dogs was the most deer damage I have had to the garden. Deer in my hood know an 85 pound golden might burst through the door any time.

Thanks guys I forgot all about the Irish Spring. That's going to be the best option for her.
