SRN News says our Petroleum Reserves are at a 40 year low and Biden is going to release more gas to try and keep prices down before the election. This is evidently in response to OPEC and the Russians cutting production. And we used to be an energy independent country from what I remember.
What happens to us if war spreads?
Moderators, go ahead and move this to the political area if you feel that is where it belongs.

Biden's actions show how deep he is in with the new green deal. Biden would rather see the citizen's suffer and risk our economic safety then increase oil production. The collapse of a vibrant economy in only 2 years shows the Democrats complete incompetence and will make Biden go down as the worst president in history.
Considering there is a large scale war going on in Ukraine where Putin has threatened nuclear war, it seems unbelievable we as a country are not ramping up our own oil production. If Putin uses a nuke, everything changes for the worse.

If Putin uses a nuke, everything changes for the worse. I agree 100%. I wonder if there is also an economic benefit to the Biden family from low fuel reserves. I feel there is so much corruption with the elite in both parties. One side brings it out with the media and publicizing law suits if they are in charge.

My question is how on Earth do 40% of those polled approve of Biden's performance? Are 40% of Americans interested in seeing the country become a socialist shithole? That seems to be the case

That seems to be the case I find it interesting that Trump BOUGHT oil for the SPR in order to support the prices when prices were low.......and now Biden is forced to sell the SPR oil in order to keep prices for rising further still. Flipping idiot. FJB

That seems to be the case There are many people that are mostly untouched by economics. I have two brother in-laws who are both Dr. of Pharmacy, in 2008 when the market crashed and 8 million people lost their jobs healthcare was hiring. If you never have to worry about your paycheck, your pension gets funded and the 5 weeks vacation never changes you don't experience the risk an employee does that could lose their job and risk their families. The free market puts real pressure on those who participate in it while those tied to government are insulated from allot of its effects. There is a reason why people vote Democrat and much of it is tied to income, protection and other things that become important to them because they don't have to worry about losing their way of life. Its a serious problem and why the Democrats want more people in government and more people paid by government.

There was a guy on an investment site that posted America First followers are vermin! I had to respond. Honestly, one side is for America, stands for the flag, wants a secure border, would like to see lower gas prices and low inflation...the other is just fine with no border, kneels for the flag, could really care about gas prices and that has led to the inflation??
It makes no sense? Then add in law enforcement support from Republicans compared to defund the police by Democrats. Honestly it should be a giant RED WAVE...but who knows?

The feds want all electric Government vehicles by a certain date. I imagine what mail delivery will be like in northern rural areas in the winter. We will need shorter routes and more Postal Service employees or else all contract people who drive gas cars. Maybe technology will catch up.
