Slice Agronomy is growing boys! With new acres under management, it was time to invest in bigger equipment. I stopped at a car wash supply warehouse and picked up a free obsolete 55 gallon soap drum. He even threw in a couple barrel bungs. The plan is to cut this in half and use it as two 25 gallon tubs for hauling bulk fertilizer up north. Beats the shit outta hauling 10 buckets. When I'm done with them, I can chuck'em in the woods until next time. Best idea ever (top 3 for sure).

Just make sure you wash it really good. Free stuff is the bomb.

Tomorrow I take the saws-all to it at the shop. Then wash it out, glue in the bungs and set her out to dry.

Pretty sure I know what you are really doing with those barrels. (My apologies to anyone that has not seen breaking bad as you won't get it)

Got the barrel down to the shop today. Here it is awaiting transformation into fertilizer super tubs. Earlier today, I lined up the tools to get this project underway.

Before we got to cutting it in half, I put some sealer on the barrel bungs and screwed them in tight to ensure I didn't gain a hole later on.

Post-op. I took a tape measure and marked it off as best I could to try to get equal sized parts from each end. Didn't go too bad.

I'm really happy with how thick these things are. The guy told me he rinsed these drums out three times, but it still looked pretty soapy inside.

The saw sailed right thru this thing. The only problem was that it left all kinds of burs along the rim. A little time with a good scraper and I got it all cleaned up.

Top three for sure.
What are the other two? Is how to make a fist one of them?
