Your beans look just like mine in SE MN. They just don't grow much without rain, and what does grow is eaten by deer. Hopefully the weather pattern changes and the second half of the summer is wet.
I've already broadcast brassicas in my corn plots, and I'll likely do the same thing in my soybeans in a couple weeks. I still need to spray my soybeans for a second time and then I'll broadcast some brassicas and rye.
