I'm hunt MN(rifle) area 604 which is a two-deer limit this year. Season will run for three weekends like zone 1. I am confused about how I can tag multiple deer with one deer tag. Anyone got some intel on this? Been trying to find this discussed somewhere. Nadda. Disease management tag, got to buy one before you shoot the deer, and it will cost you $1.50 if you are a non-resident or resident.
The tag that came with your license is the only one that you can put on a buck.

Looks like Lee Lakosky is getting cited for a tagging violation again.. Something about these celebrities, gotta move their deer around for the best pictures to pimp their gear and cant be bothered to tag their deer haha!

^ I paid $2.50 for the extra doe tag yesterday at Fleet. I highly doubt we will use it....but I don't have a problem with burning a doe tag at my place....and allowing anyone to hang in there for a buck. I doubt that my other family members will buy a doe tag and I would like us to take two or three deer for meat. The issue is....two of our party of five.....have two elk in their freezer from a hunt last week. ......and unless it's a booner.....they are not going to shoot anything. Not sure what the other two will do.....but they want to keep and process their own deer. I want to have some sausage and some steaks for us to take to OZ and to have for company here in MN. It seems my family has turned into trophy hunters. If NOBODY shoots a deer, I may take two.

Should be good sleeping weather.

They don’t sound like trophy hunters. Getting a booner can be tough anywhere, but it is much harder to find in the land of wolves and bad winters. Goals need to be realistic for the area.

Lots of options still on the table. We will see.

With last years archery and muzzy harvest(assuming similar this year; remember crossguns will help), plus special seasons, it should approach 170k total harvest.

The current archery is included in the current total kill. The total special season kill each year is about 1k. Assuming similar kill totals this year after last winter is probably a bad assumption. Last year muzzy season kill was about 11k.

Last year was 137,034 total gun kill for the year. Read one article that stated the kill was down 22% for day to day, year to year.
Also, last year was down from the previous years.

22% in a year isn't some anomaly that can be explained away, except to say that there are fewer deer in MN now than there were last year. The reason for that is several bad winters in a row, coupled with very liberal doe permits for years and years and years in many units.
