I did some Googling and couldn't find what I was looking for. I figured I'd ask you guys....
Is there a site that lists who has received ag tags/deer depredation permits/whatever in MN and how many deer they've taken? I could swear there was something like that in WI at some point.

WI definitely has an ag damage permit list. I look at it often with our situation. It just pisses me off more though.

Wisconsin's list is on the Wisconsin DNR website.

I've never found anything like that in Minnesota, but I'm pretty sure an email to the DNR should be able to point you in the right direction.
Do you think a neighboring farmer thinned out the herd?
I have that issue with both deer and bears on my Rusk County place. In Wisconsin it is extremely easy to get ag tags to kill as many animals as possible.

My thought that neighbors were feeding/baiting or I had neighbor that had planted a couple acres of corn last year that he left standing that got moldy and caused the deer to die. Had two shooters that made it thru till after Jan.1st last year that just disappeared too.

I was told in writing by Tom Landwehr back when he was DNR commish to never contact Beau Liddell (my area manager) again. I suppose with the new commish (don't even know who it is) I could go back to harrassing the fucker.

I went to a friends retirement party and they were talking about depredation tags. One farmer was issued over 50 tags by the MN DNR. Why, because deer were hitting his feedlot last winter ?
It really pissed the neighbors off. This was in a zone that one deer only ! Makes no sense.
