Has any one else have ads pop up that take you away from the forum. Just had it happen twice now. Took me to a Goodwill site. I also had one a couple days ago that took me to a different site which was an ad that had volume turned all the way up. I am also getting warnings about this website's certificate

I will screen shot it the next time it happens. The dam thing was for 10 seconds and then it wouldn't even return me to this site.

I had something odd happen a couple days ago. It was (I assume) a fake virus warning, trying to get me to click on a link or call a number. I looked it up and it's a common scam. It did happen while I was here, but I have no idea if that was a coincidence or not.

I haven't seen either of those thing. I know sometimes you can install a browser plugin and will put adds in webpages. People are usually tricked into installing them...ah look at this plugin\toolbar that will let me add smileys, never mind it is also creating ads

Hasn't happened to me. Did you click on the ad by accident?

Hasn't happened to me. Did you click on the ad by accident? That is what I thought a couple days ago but today it popped up all on it's own. The 1st time I closed it out and then opened this site and it did it again.
