Have the deer been hitting your feeder like crazy lately? I've got a cell cam on mine and it seems like they're feeding non-stop from dusk until dawn.

You found your way here! How is hunting life in Kanabec County treating you? Good to see you back! Thanks Mo I was busy with the kids hockey season this winter and didn't get to check in much. I was surprised when the old link wasn't working one morning in Feb. Luckily I still had Art's email and I was able to track you all down. Great to see the habitat talk still going strong...and the dirty joke thread of course. Still enjoying the location, wish I had more time up there. I had my 12 year old out in the stand on a few occasions and he got to see a lot of deer. He was holding out for one with horns though so his tag went empty. He is hooked though. I've got a long list of projects for the upcoming season hopefully weather cooperates better this year.

It varies with the location, but is still a good indicator of numbers. I see less deer and less road kill in the areas between Watkins/Kimball and Litchfield. Where I live, the deer wintered a bit further form the road this year, which is a good thing.

Pulled up to my driveway this morning and had two pheasant roosters on the driveway leading up to the shed. Pheasant count is looking as promising as the deer.

I thought this one was pretty interesting. How often do you catch 4 different species in the frame at the same time?
