We added some acreage this weekend, expanding our food plot to include an area in the timber. This will be a clover area, next to some tillable (corn this year)...I hope the combo draws some bucks in. The Bur oaks within the timber usually drop a lot of acorns (except last year). This was kind of a poor mans plot, chainsaw, rake and brush mower....along with the clover seed. Should be a great spot of turkey too. facebook image upload

Here is the view from my stand, we have a stand on each corner, depending on wind. Access is easy, borders a 20 acre bedding area. We will add a small pond/Menards tub to the location, and trim some of the dead branches... Should be good to go this fall.

Actually it's from Wired to Hunt. A great blog and podcast I have mentioned before at the old site. I never claimed it was ME. I was picturing Bwoods in that spot of his. I'll add the disclaimer next time to avoid concern.
