We have a 290 thats been stored in our barn now for about 5 years since we got the Flex 71 planter.
It has Fert buckets, the mechanical lift works, and it plants seed as expected.
Dad bought this one several years ago and has "shopped" Clist to price it out and said he wants $750 for it. Based on what I see for sale, its in the ballpark, but I am certain I can get him down a bit if anyone is interested. Its at our Farm in OTC.

Sure you can find them. But they cost more money.

15 bucks for 2 plates is hardly a deal breaker.

15 bucks for 2 plates is hardly a deal breaker. Then you don't know food plotters really well. It ain't a big deal to me or you, but most it will be a deal breaker.

Wade bought it. Cool, Wade will be on the search for plates to match corn seed every year. B-1, B-2, B-6 and B-9 are whats in season this year!

Well, for starters, the corn you get from MDHA or NWTF or whereever, has no plate recommendations that I have ever seen. The tags simply say, Wildlife Foodplot seed. And nothing else. So you really cant plan for what plate you need for maximum yield. B1 16 is what I have used every year for the last 10+ years. I dont even own another set. Free or cheap seed. Let 'er flow. Soybeans I own one set. Soy24(I think). Let 'er flow.
2 sets of plates for the average joe will get food growing.
Plots, its whats for dinner! Its not whats for profit.
