I ordered a Wolf River Apple, its here, best to plant in a fairly controlled setting--like an old farmstead--easy to water, etc...
Or the other option is on the edge of a oak woods, bordered by tillable. Not as easy to baby.
This is for wildlife, and I'd like to eat some apples from it. I've read the apples will eventually be pretty good size--?

I'd go with option A if it provides more sunlight. Sunlight is the key above anything else except soils.

Art-- yeah it's fun, see it paying off in future. Fun to try different varieties.
