Oh man..... was there a large procession with it? I wanted to be down there for the procession after, but the dang route is 494 to 62.... Where in the world are people going to gather to pay tribute?? Bridges will be packed early, and you cant see the freeway from anywhere accept the overpasses. big bummer. Not huge yet but this was just getting him to the service. They had shut the freeway down in front of the professional. At least the bridges had Leo/fire presence but yeah like you said how the hell are people going to pay respects in the procession along the freeway? (As was suggested)  |

Yep, when he lived here, he was suiting up at least an hour before shift. Realistically it was 30 minutes of screwing around dressing, and then 30 minutes in the car logging in and catching up on the days happenings.
I should ask him to weigh the vest and all the gear. It has to be 30 to 40 pounds.

Found this interesting today. Was driving past the Liberal High School in Liberal Kansas today. Noticed a huge Redskin logo on the side of their building. They are the home of the Redskins. In liberal Kansas. lol!
