This week is gonna be pretty cold.
Lows here at home are right at the freezing mark at night. At the farm, looks like we have 7 days in a row that will fall below 30.
Are the apple trees doomed this year with this level of cold?

None of my apples or crabs are even close to blooming. This week will not impact them at all.

I had to check just to make sure I wasn't talking shit...none of the crabs or apples are close to blooming this week, but I do have Ure and Early Gold pears at tight cluster. I think they'll be okay, but won't know for sure for awhile.

My average late frost date of 28 degrees on my land is May 16. Still a ways to go.
