I'd have to agree the legs don't look long enough for a wolf.

BLB a good way to tell the difference is to compare the length of legs to depth of body. If they are about same it most likely is a yote. If the legs are longer than depth of body it most likely is a wolf.

Thats right. You posted that a while back or someone did. I have been burned on big coyotes before.
Do wolves in winter have thicker coats that would maybe make that leg to body ratio a little tougher to determine though?

Yes they have thicker coats but the legs still appear longer, just have to look a little closer

Coyote. Head doesn't look beefy enough and the legs don't seem long enough to be wolf.
