I picked up my buckwheat seed today $1.05 a pound. My seed store said they have been selling more BW this year than ever.

I picked up a few years worth myself. It seems like it should always have a place in a blend at some point during the year. If not for the deer, the bees, the soil texture, and to help free up some P2 phosphorus.

I checked my local store and have a 50# bag ordered for next week. $1.75 a pound. I wish I could get seed as cheap as you guys.

One bag, Shipping and seed would be $62. Two bags-$115 Its funny with shipping, Speedy shipping in our 5 state area can get me a 2,000lb pallet of seed from MN to IA for $76, $150 to NE. I called Fedex and they want $900 to either place. I don't get shipping at all!

Thanks Mo. I'll check In with you next spring. Hopefully I'll have some more freshly cleared ground to work on.
