I'm looking for a good trailer lock or locks for when I leave my trailer outside or when I am trailoring. Is there a style or brand guys like?

Thanks Tom, they look like excellent locks. I suppose no lock will keep a determined thief from stealing your stuff but I would like to stop most thieves from trying to steal my trailer.

You are correct, no lock will stop a thief but they may make it harder for them. A lot of people just use the lock on coupler and not the lock for receiver. A few years ago a guy had his boat and trailer stolen when he had it hooked to his truck that just had the lock on coupler. They caught the thief later, the boat was already sold. The thief said it was easy, all he had to do was pull pin on receiver, push boat back and slide it into his receiver, put the pin in and away he went.

I've heard of trailers be taken even when they had a lock on them. The thief left the lock on and put the hitch on a stud and not a ball. What I did was take an ld ball and cut the stud off of it. Put it in the hitch and then lock it.
