Kevin O'leary says on Fox Biz that the Fed isn't cutting rates anytime soon and that inflation is going to stay higher than 2% for years.
I think he's probably right

Gas now $3.43. Everyone will need to go electric at this rate and the Chinese or Russians will take out the grid.
I suspect they have all ready tested it, multiple times.

^^^gas was $3.44 in Browerville, $3.19 in L.P., and $3.09 in Sauk Centre yesterday. I filled up in Sauk.
I went for a walk and wandered in my orchards a bit ago, came back in and see a whole lot of green in the markets. The markets must have heard something good from Powell (or thought they did anyway).

Powell did a great job of blowing smoke up most people's asses today. Just not mine. If he thinks inflation is going down to two percent anytime soon, he is very mistaken. He certainly is not lowering rates anytime soon with what he has to work worth curently.

I heard some talking heads who allegedly "know" Powell say that a .25% June rate cut is almost certainly going to happen...but that anymore cuts this year aren't super likely....2 more after the June cut at the most, and likely only one more. None of them more than .25% Who knows, certainly not me I do know my accounts sure liked today's action Edit...futures looking like the craziness continues today

That’s going out on a limb. lol Maybe not going out on a limb to say another 5% at some point this year, but to add that additional amount and maintain it until January seems a bit more bold. That would be a bit over 15% in an election year. I'd take it

Larry Fink was interviewed on Fox Biz earlier today. The Dow was up under 300 before his interview. It started going up during the interview, and is now up 470 points.
I can't help but think this move is just a knee jerk reaction to his interview. He was very optimistic during the interview and stated towards the end that he was 71 years old and has 100% invested in equities.

I want it to go backwards until shuffles is out ! Not a big drop, but everything is too high right now, a correction would be healthy for the market !
