Anybody grow this stuff? It's a kale/rape hybrid, supposed to have the best cold tolerance of any brassica.

I just got my package of seed from Hancock Seed a bit ago. The UPS guy is from Millerville, we always get to talk about NCR and deer hunting when he stops He says that he had heard the new owner of NCR had purchased the green houses as well as the business. Who knows... At any rate, I'll be planting some of the kale in a month or so. I'll report back how it does.

How did you here about that type of Kale Stu? Interweb searching. Last winter I watched our garden kale stay green through some bitter cold weather. I figured if regular old kale had that kind of hardiness, there must be something out there designed for forage with good winter hardiness too. Seems like I had too many turnips last year, so I'll try planting more greens this year.

Under the snow, still green. Deer just kill for the greens late season. You may be on to something with that type of Kale. Good Post!
