I switched the setting back on that controls the "wide" pictures which require the right/left scrolling to view the "whole" picture. It makes the threads a bit more tidy by fitting the full picture into the available post space without having to scroll to see a tiny bit on the right side. Now you can view the full photos in the "Bear" thread without scrolling again.

Is there any way that when you click on a thread it automatically takes you to the first "unread" post? H-T has this as most other forums do now. Jim's at least had a button you could click on. I don't see anything of that sort on here yet. Maybe I'm missing it? On the top of page 1st line, recent posts or recent threads. badger, is that ^^^ what you were looking for?

No. It still takes you to the first post of the thread when you click on it.
In most forums I'm on, if you click on a thread it will take you to the first unread post. Jim's old forum did on my phone but not the desktop. This site doesn't appear to do it on either. It's just nice not having to scroll through a bunch of things you've already read.

Use the Recent Threads button. Then click on the "New" icon next to the thread title and it should jump you to the first unread post. Let me know.

That is weird as when I click on it it takes me to the most recent. Maybe check your cookie settings on your browser.

You can also click on the "xx minutes ago" under who posted the last post on the right side of the thread listed.

Any possibility of putting a home button on the bottom of the screen. I find myself reading long threads and then having to scroll to the top to go back to the home page.

I rather like it in each post, that way if you are looking for something in the middle of a thread, you don't have to scroll anywhere to get back to the Home page.
