Looking for a tiny saw, like a silky with an engine. I've like my Stihl MS 250, but thinking about getting one of these little buggers for some serious clearing work on small stemmed trees and tag alder. Any feedback on this guy?

Not sure about the 150 as shown.....but the 180 size is VERY popular. I have one.....and it does about all I need to do. I don't want to make wood or do huge projects anymore.....I just need to cut up some fallen trees and make a little campfire wood once in a while. The 180 is light and small enough.....yet has enough muscle to tackle reasonable tree sizes when needed. I sold my 250 a while back.....it was a wood-making dream.....but my back and joints don't do quantities of wood anymore.

My 180s are light enough to use all day with just enough power to make some larger cuts when necessary. I don't think I'd want a saw with any less power

Good feedback team. I'll head into the store and start looking more closely. I may have to wait until the day I leave for Thanksgiving to buy one. Knowing my luck, we'd get another two feet of snow and it'd shut down late season chainsaw work before I could get going on it.

I have two saw. MS 250 and the MS 180. I love the 180 for what you are talking about doing. Get the 14" bar. Not the 16" like the STihl dealer tried selling me.

I appreciate all the feedback. It's going to make it a lot easier to buy it and go instead of wondering.
