Got the truck and trailer all loaded up today. Headed up to plant my bean plots early tomorrow morning. Hoping it stays dry until after the planting is done.

Tom,
How many acres of beans? Will you protect any of them ?

I have 2 plots, each are about 1.5 acres. No protection. I do a heavy seeding rate so if deer browse some I still get a good soybean crop.

Good luck. I hope the weather holds up for you. Do they not hammer your beans? 1.5 acres would be an overnight snack for our deer.

Not to bad as population was down but with buck only for a year and very limited tags last year, I expect more pressure on them. There is enough agriculture in area to help some also..

Got both bean plots in. Suppose to rain tonight, Sunday and Monday. Perfect timing.
