I am selling one of my windmill aerators. It is 12' high and works great just dont have a use for it any more. Asking $900 but for a forum member i will let it go for $750

Excuse my ignorance but how does a windmill aerator work? Would it keep ice open in the fall?

The windmill blades turns a piston and compresses air using a cylinder and diaphragm. It will keep water open all winter if the wind is blowing.

15 years standing. Not one single glitch. Taking it down this weekend to sell...mother nature says not so fast!
I straightened it out and will set it up with a couple of solar powered mods. Look for the birth of a hybrid aerator coming soon to a body of water near you

Windmills are good in certain situations. Wide open spacds. I like solar for remote locations

You could craigslist it as a lawn ornament for city people. Use some key words like "antique" and you may get more than what you paid for it new.
