I keep wrestling with the idea of doing a toy shed for now, like an 8x12 for a couple grand. Then I realize I can get a container for three grand. Then I'm stuck with it, so I might as well do proper dirt work under it. That makes it now a $4k-$6k project. Then that represents 10-15% of the cost of the building I actually want. Then I think about doing a stick built garage on a raised edge floating concrete slab. Then I think about how much I don't want to build my own building because I don't want to give up the numerous weekends it'd take to get all the little things done that I don't know how to do.
Then I get pissed and go think about something else.

Endless circles. Right now, the frustration is not having the bush hog up there, and having no place to stockpile lime, fertilizer, and small tools. There's more to manage and fewer tools now to do it.

There's more to manage and fewer tools now to do it. Just build the pole shed. I've been doing a lot of financial forecasting and planning the past week and a half. I think I might be able to pull off the big shed I want next summer if all comes together the way I think it will. Lots of moving parts, but there is a path.
