Does anyone have/use a utility cart that you pull by hand? I'm thinking about getting something to help move gear around the property until a storage option and some power equipment shows up in the budget. I've got lofty goals for spring, and I'm just dreading moving around all my crap by hand. I can get my brother's 4 wheeler if I need it, but I'll have enough trips up there that I don't want to have to go get it every time I go. When I don't use his wheeler, it saves me about $60 in gas, but more importantly, I don't have to drive MN side roads for 500 miles. That is hell for a guy accustomed to doing 80 mph for hours at a crack.
So, looking for something to move chainsaw gear, tree planting stuff, lime, seed etc. It's also got to be able to survive in the elements for a year or two. First thing I'm worried about is cheap pneumatic tires. I'd almost prefer plastic or solid rubber if it exists.

SD,
I use a black jet sled. Holds saw, oil, gas etc.
I use it for moving firewood as well. Works better in the snow but, I've used it many times without snow on bare ground.

I use one of those too. I have to think more about this. I am taking a few days off when tree planting gets here. I may be able to get by getting most of my work done at that time, but then it's back to dragging that sled or humping sacks of stuff 1/4-1/2 mile over the old shoulder. I should really sit down and figure out how many vacation days I can take to get this done. I'd like to go like hell when that magical time of snow gone/ground still frozen gets here to finish up my chainsaw work, and get a lot of liming and gypsum applying done on non-plot areas.

Have you guys owned something like that? Some of those parts look really light duty. I wish I had a wagon like we all had when we were kids. You could kick the shit outta those things and they'd keep on working.

I have not owned one but have used them at garden centers and the ones there were tough as hell. You can buy some that are industrial strength that are in the 500 dollar range. Are they tougher, hard to say.

The Barracuda just uses my old construction steel wheel barrow that has had the same tire on it for 35 years.
