Outstanding! Were you on the Canadian side?
I did that trip once and had some success. That is one hell of a big lake, makes a 18' boat feel tiny.
I haven't went a Canadian fishing trip in a lot of years, I need to do one. Maybe this group should try a fly-in sometime, all you need to bring is fishing gear and beverages.
Congrats, looks like a great trip!

Very nice!
A friend of mine was up there in a tournament on teh MN side a few weeks ago.
They were in his friends boat. The motor busted off the transom and to the bottom of the lake it went. They had to get a diver out of Detriot Lakes to retrieve it.
Fun stuff. LOLLLL

Thanks guys. We were on Candadien side fishing out of Tamarack Island Resort.
Nice fish Riggs. We caught a few walleyes to eat and bring home and I lost a giant one on a musky crankbait. I was more mad about losing the walleye than a big musky. We got a good look at it and it had to be pushing 10 lb.

Awesome fish. Was at LOTW about 4 years ago. It was the best fishing trip I ever went on.

Awesome....I know some folks locally here that used to run a camp up there on the Canadian side place was called Canadian Haven. Not sure if they still do or not. Always wanted to check it out, but just never gotten around to it.
