Sure is convenient that the DNR can make 215 Intensive while never having done an aerial survey...ever...

We have 20 gun hunters per square mile, probably 8 deer per square mile, and shall-issue over the counter doe tags. This will end well for me.

Wow. 240 is managed. Granted as has been poited out on many occasions only a couple percent of hunters register more than 2 deer. I would of preferred hunters choice but at least were not intensive.
I need to get back to meeting the neighbors and handing out your data. I gave it out to a couple but need to hit a few more.

Firearms starts November 4 Man that's early, maybe it will be so hot nothing will move and some of us can bow or Muzzy hunt late season.

I am a bit surprised 240 is managed and not intensive. Thumbs up to that, a lot of common sense management up there, probably will not hammer the does too bad in that area.
Although I have one neighbor who I can tell already will be slinging lead from sunup to sundown, but he only hunts one weekend.

I am surprised as well that 240 isn't intensive but hey great for you guys. Drove my the property last night and saw 18 deer in one of the plots. Three respectable bucks but nothing super exciting. Bugs are definitely pushing them out earlier and earlier from the woods. Now if we can get some rain to help sustain the plots when they are getting grazed so heavily. I am fortunately to have bought land in a good area and have some good neighbors in general.

That's what I'm hoping for. What a shitfest this season could be. Rut well underway and every fucking idiot who hunts in 214 and 215 can kill three deer. This season could set the herd back to what it was 4 or 5 years ago...exactly what the MN DNR is hoping I imagine.

I drove around Nidaros township Sat evening till dark. Most deer I saw in any field was 4.
Cant even imagine seeing upwards of 20 deer around there. Sadly, there should be areas with deer numbers like that.

DNR=idiots
Yeah I hope November 4/5 is 84 with 30 mph winds, otherwise it's gonna be ugly for the does and bucks.
