Who has an issue with freedom of speech? I would think the Seahawks owner and the steelers owner. Neither team would come on the field for the Anthem. Wanted to make a stand, Fuck the man so to speak. Both lost.......Bahahahahahahahahahaha! Fuck them mother fuckers! First time I've cheered for Bears! Beat the Steelers, stay in locker room BS!

Simone Biles was walking the fine line of being an olympic hero that appealed to all Americans while also being black. It wasn't until today that I saw her start to glom onto this take a knee shit. She got axed from my twitter/Insta feed. I'm done with her.
I've still got Ashton Locklear. She just made the 2017 U.S. World Gymnastics team. Now on to Montreal.

I don't see it as a race issue, though the media would like us to see it that way. I see it as just another political issue. I fully support the players' rights to express their opinions. I don't agree with them, but then again I don't agree with lots of other people either. The media (once again) is controlling/manipulating us with what they feed us. Just remember, it is only a tiny number of people who control what we see/hear on TV/Radio/social media.

Steph Curry on Friday about not going to the White House. What Curry said “By not going, hopefully that will inspire some change in terms of what we tolerate in this country,” Curry said Friday. Who tolerating what? The guy is mixed lineages that include African American? What the hell is he wanting to tolerate? His mothers Haitian background being segregated? I dont think any of these dumasses even know what they are protesting or why they are protesting. Overpaid assholes..... Question? Has there been any college athletes "protesting" ? I honestly dont know.

We wouldn't even know about this unless the major media outlets wanted us to know. The NFL would like it go away. I sure as hell will not censure you on this forum. I sure as hell would not censure anybody else's opinion on this forum. I also sure as hell would not go out of my way to make sure other people are aware of things that I don't agree with that occur on this forum. That's the difference between me and major media outlets.

No. My point is that if its so important, why are the guys that make millions the ones protesting..... Arrogance leading their efforts.
I am not being manipulated. I dont give 2 shits. I find it funny in an odd sort of way.... and frustrating that the morons think they are making change. They are making more issues.

This is what the founder said when he sat in protest for the first time, during the 2016 preseason:
Before a preseason game in 2016, Kaepernick sat down, as opposed to the tradition of standing, during the playing of "The Star-Spangled Banner". During a post-game interview, he explained his position stating, "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder", referencing a series of events that led to the Black Lives Matter movement and adding that he would continue to protest until he feels like "[the American flag] represents what it's supposed to represent"
Right at high noon, as one of the other games was starting (don't even remember who it was) they splashed an owner statement about how Trump was an asshole and they support their players' disrespect towards America. What's really fascinating is the idea that there is freedom of speech in the workplace. There is absolutely no place for free-expression in the workplace. Any position of influence will have morality clauses and expectations to be ambassadors of their respective brands.

I don't watch a lot of pro football. Even less after the "protest" started.
But I did watch pre game shows yesterday and the first 30 minutes I watched was consumed by speech against a Trump and this disrespecting of our flag.
CBS even had famed football commentator Charles Barkley on to talk about Trump. Why the hell am I supposed to care what a basketball guy has to say about football. Oh that's right, he only talked about Trump and the stupid people in Alabama who support him.
They are free to kneel, to speak and to protest. I am free to not give them my money or consume their product.
Any normal business would stop an employee from damaging their brand. The NFL could have done that but they have chosen to be political and let their liberalism shine. They are no better than Hollywood.
On a side note, Howie Long did say the Vikings were Super Bowl quality if they could get their quarterback back. It's just those damn glass knees holding him back.
Well maybe he didn't say glass knees.
