My 2 Moultries showed up today. Mine are due tomorrow. I'm trying to decide where I'll put them. I guess one will eed to go on my besr bait site on September 1.

Got my cameras back today. I got them setup up tonight. Not sure where they're going yet.

Got mine while I was down in Missouri yesterday. I am pulling 4 different old C battery cameras out of circulation and going to put them on Ebay to get rid of them.

Ok, I've got the two Moultries set up out on my land but, is turning it on as simple as that two get it to take photos? After I set them up I hung them and powered it on. I had a custom start option and the default. On my other cameras, I flip the switch to on and I see a blinking light and the photo count on the SD card. On these I don't see that. I believe it says setup. I fiddle around and get a test count down so I close the door and let it go. Any suggestions?

You need to do some setup in there to get it how you'd like it. I've never used the quick start. Once you set it to whatever mode you'd like and activate it, then you should see your timer and picture count.

I'm an old, lazy, non-tech savvy dude. I put my Moultries out using the Quick Start function. Is that ideal? Obviously not. Does it work? Oh ya, you betcha

It helps to know how to change settings in the cam. I like capturing video on downed trees. I like a 5 second delay on a trail crossing, 30 second in a food plot. I also turn down the resolution to 2MP so those photos are easier to handle when moving around.

Thanks SD. I'll see if I got any photos and try the changes. My brother set one of his up with a password but, it's a pain to open when the mosquitos are biting and hovering over you.
