Target Bluff has been closed a few years now, since the old man passed away. The all you can eat shrimp boils were awesome. As to Woodbine, they were open last fall, and their Saturday night all you can eat prime rib buffet used to be the bomb! I was aware that Target Bluff had closed, but thought Woodbine was open....they closed last June Woodbine seemed like a goldmine to me.

Any of those Sconnie joints that try to pull that fish-boil crap on folks.....should all go broke. One of the worst meals I've eaten since army liver which they tried to make to look like swiss steak.

Fish boils are generally found along/near the Lake Michigan shore. Not my favorite, but then again neither is Minnesota's tradition of eating eelpout and calling it "poor man's lobster"

Not a "supper club" by definition, but a bar and grill = Fibbers in St. Germain, WI. Best fish fry I've had in a longggg time.

Went back in time last night. Haven't had one of these in probably 10 years. Reminded me of a strong High Life.

Made trips 2 times a week to the factory in Chippewa Fall's to stock the warehouse. They had a waiting room for the drivers. Taps on the wall and we had mugs with our names on them. After a while they took the mugs away and we were limited to 2 beers. Best job I ever had.

Great fishing beer. What beer did we have at that deer meeting over at North Branch or somewhere close by. You and I had a dark beer called widow maker or black widow or??? Michigan beer I think and I couldn’t get it further west.
