We have a lot of small cheese coops with caves here that do tours so all the cheese I’ve seen was white to very light yellow. I will see if I can find any yellow and try it. Im not a velveeta type eater so I’ve only had the orange with pizza cheese or tacos. Do they have Cabot cheese out there? That’s the big producer here in the northeast. I would love that! Cheese is seriously one of my favorite foods and I'm always on the lookout to try something different. We don't have cheese caves around that I'm aware of though. I don't remember seeing any Cabots at the store. We do get Tillamook brand. It's out of Oregon, I've toured the factory before and sampled everything I could. You guys know what's hard to find here are curds. I can gorge myself on cheese curds but never can buy them. Cheese curds on every block in Wisconsin.

I wish KS had curds, but I guess I'll have to be happy with a 150 behind every tree.

I don't know... I hear the curds and farmer ice cream are awfully good! The "150 behind every tree" is a KS joke. Watch any hunting show or read a magazine and you would expect a 150 to run up to you and ask you to shoot it every time you hunt KS. Most NR that I've met or talked with after a week of hunting were either empty handed, or had a 120 that they said was a 140. Don't get me wrong, hunting here is great. But the media makes it out to be better than it is.

For those who don’t eat grain, how about steel cut oats? Real oats not the processed Quaker stuff. I have been reducing bread but I still eat oats a couple times per week. They are supposed to reduce cholesterol. I think they're a net benefit. Real oatmeal has about 15-20% carb-fiber in it. Eaten at breakfast, should be a nice boost to the day, and you have all day to burn it off. And they guarantee a great colon cleansing deuce!
