There’s water in Oz? not a lot of it but what's there usually has ducks and very little hunting pressure. We've shot mallards, ringnecks, scaup, pintail, canvasbacks, redheads, teal, lesser Canadians, wood ducks, widgeons, and some others.

That’s awesome. Would have never guessed that. Pacific flyway?

Not really. Mostly some locals and stragglers that come off the Pacific flyway. A lot of our hunting depends on the weather. If a storm front pushes down from the north then hunting gets better.

Hunted hard this weekend. Saw 27 deer, 3 bucks. All the does still had fawns. Had my target buck at 40 yards Sat night. Heavy firearm pressure sitting on the line pretty much pushed everything out by Sun night.
Anybody else have guys that hunt fields next to your woods? 4 guys rolled up last night and spread out along the 1/4 mile fenceline facing the field and shoot as the deer exit the woods to feed. Makes my blood pressure rise. They shot a doe Sat night and nothing last night thankfully. Not only that they took my camera Sat am. I confronted him Sat night and he admitted to taking it and returned it after he deleted the card.

Wow, that guy has balls Matt. What was your weapon of choice on Saturday, do you stick with the recurve during shotgun season as well? Any idea if the buck made it through the weekend?

We have stands facing our land that werent there 5-10 years ago. Thank god one of the assholes didnt show up Sunday morning. My son said a doe walked out of our woods and walked within yds of his box blind. HAAAAAAAAA That same neighbor covered my lens with mud on a trail cam I had on the fenceline several years ago too. I had it pointed to their field, and apparently he didnt like that.

I don't think it is wrong for neighbors to hunt near the property line, as long as they are not shooting deer across the line or trespassing to retrieve deer.
Taking your trail camera and deleting the pictures probably means that they were doing one of those things.

Between my buddy and I we saw 10 different bucks this morning in the first 2 hours. All were trailing doe's. Only one was maybe a shooter.

Carrying a '59 Bear Grizzly this fall. Heard 1 shot Sunday morning 3/4 mile away. Very little shooting this past weekend around me which was nice. Corn coming out fast though.

I know, I should have known better. I was just hoping you had a historic morning in Mora and things would be heating up my way.
