I'm better at doing nothing than I was 5 years ago. I imagine I will get better each year. When taking care of my property doesn't interest me any more, then maybe I'll be ready to do nothing for a month or three at a time. |

The sun has been fleeting the last couple days. Today it got to about 80, but there wasn't much sun. I'm okay with that |

The place we stayed last year had kayaks we could have used on the canal. We were only there for a few days so we didn't use them. Stay for a month and I'd probably try to figure out how they work. I gotta get my wife away from the internet. She's about ready to book a place for all of next February right now.Well, thankfully the cooling off period worked. She's now thinking two weeks is enough. Neither of us is that great at doing nothing for an extended amount of time just yet. I'll be honest, I'm sure happy we were here instead of MN for that cold snap...but I'm ready to fire up a chainsaw and ride the atv around my property. I think it'll be at least another 10 years before I'm ready to do nothing for a month. I guess we'll see 4-5 days of doing nothing and I start to climb the walls. |
