Weather for the next few days looks about as good as possible for early March in central MN. Highs in the upper 50s/low 60s and plenty of sun.
It looks by the end of next week, we return to more "normal" weather. I will certainly enjoy the next few days, but getting back to normal will be much better for my fruit trees.

I want the snow gone so I can get out and prune mine. It’s tough to open cages when they’re frozen in snow. Being on the north side of our field helps a ton with that. I’m not sure if we’ve been warm enough yet to try and do it tomorrow though.

Yes, it's 54 degrees here, b-e-a-u-tiful outside, long time coming! 63 here. Feels hot here. Glad it'll be mid 40's on the weekend. Rather work in that temp than hottest of the year so far.

54 here and it feels warmer than that. I just graded the driveway. Absolute earliest that's ever happened here. Forecast says 67 tomorrow

I took a quick trip to my Rusk County WI place to get some scion and frost seed some clover. Spring has definitely not reached that location. I had to shovel 18" of snow by the cabin to clear a spot to grill out some steaks for supper. There was a solid 12"+ in the fields and I managed to get the ATV stuck twice before I gave up and just walked.

One last outing and boy was it NICE out! Ponds are melting fast and getting a little punky. Ice fishing equipment is put away. Tommorw back at getting ready for another season of pigs

Yeah I’m a little worried as I looked closely at an old tree on Saturday and some buds were at silver tip. I think we must’ve had a warm up before the last cold spell that triggered it. I’ll have to look more closely this weekend. If they were silver tip before that sub zero weather hit may be another low fruit year.

I may be robbed of my extremely early planting experiment. I don't want to broadcast onto snow.
