I️ showed my hunting daughter one of your pics of a trapped coyote. She said she didn’t want to see it or ever attempt to try trapping. The same kid that wanted to launch a crossbow bolt at the out of range coyote we saw last turkey season. Seems to be eager to kill one as long as it is not in a trap. I️ explained that trapping is the best way to control coyotes. I️ also explained that as hunters we need to stick together and support trapping. She said ok but still wants nothing to do with it. I️ thought it was interesting how someone who understands the need for hunting had such a reaction to the trap. She is only 11 so she may come around some day. My 8 year old daughter went out to check traps with me last weekend. She said next one we get on a weekend she gets to shoot. We will see how that goes. She says she wants to deer hunt and shoot a bear. Told her I will give her my next bear tag.

Bingo .... Goal achieved. Now just keep setting that bar higher. No such thing as trapping too many of those damn things.

Wow, you are rocking and rolling! Almost like you had a Yote problem:) Hopefully you have less of a problem come spring. If I only had time for more hobbies this sounds fun. My neighbor catches 20 or so a year so at least someone is keeping them at bay.

Got my first double number 11 & 12 That has to be rewarding as hell, not just the predator control, but the feat of being a successful trapper. Nice work Ogema.
