So if we cut lower cedar branches, should we cut to eye level (5-6 feet)? For the deer—travel & bedding. Any reason to go higher ? We have a 3 day weekend planned in March ! Much needed ! when I cut trails for deer, I cut them just so a 6 foot man can walk through them easily Things may be different bin Iowa, but I think our deer in Minnesota prefer to travel through cover. I don’t like wider trails.

I don’t like wider trails. I’m probably going to average 5-6 feet . Then take some out as well . I wish I could get a logger to take a bunch . Select cut .
