My guess is the MN homestead tax subsidy would give almost all of us a big number as well. And I am sure there is a website that adds that up as well.
Fuck yeah it does. My non-homestead status tripled the taxes from the guy before me. Went from $500.00 a year to $1500 a year for me.

What is the subsidy that they show as dollars? I guess I wasnt aware of that. Cash value, not all dollars.
RDO buys a lot of crop insurance. Crop insurance in my case in MN is about 2/3's government subsidized. Its the only way you can get insurance, is to buy sibsidized. Same as a home in a flood plain. You can only buy subsidized flood insurance. So EWG tracks that. Trust me, if we could buy crop insurance from a competitive source, we would. Right now crop insurance companies have the gov in their back pocket. They get the gov to pay them 3 times what the insurance is worth and label us with the subsidy. Great scam.
Makes me think of the college loan thing. Government gives loans to make college affordable. Then colleges can charge two or three times more and maybe offer more worthless classes.

College loans remain the greatest scam ever perpetrated in American history. What better way to steal trillions of dollars in wealth and never need a congressional vote to do it. Students are nothing more than a victim conduit for money laundering. On the lighter side, I got some kind of tax credit on my property tax for 2019. They're actually going down for 2019 as of right now.

I remember when my daughter and son did PSEO, took a bunch of college courses during HS. Thought they were getting ahead on college. Come to find out most colleges would not except the credits from the community college the school was set up with. So they get to college and have to take some of the classes over. Took the same classes over so the college could charge them for the class now. Fucking scam artists. That is just one reason I have so much hatred for education. It ain't about the kids as they say, its about the kids only if they pay!

IMO if people want to sign up for college basket weaving or art classes that never lead to a job they have the right to do so. They will learn an expensive lesson about making important life decisions when student loan payments start.
The students are the college's and university's customers and as long as the customers keep coming, the colleges will provide what they are looking for. Eventually the stories about the staggering student debt totals should get the next generation of college students to ask more questions and weigh the cost of college versus the increased pay they get with that diploma. Once they quit signing up for those basket weaving classes then the university will adjust the classes they offer to better match the demand. Universities are currently fighting hard to get students, so I think that change is actually starting.

Problem is, these are 16-17-18 year old kids signing up that have no idea what is happening until it is financially too late.

You could fix it all if u just required the funds to be sent back to the lender as soon as the student drops out.

Supposedly there will be a few more million acres of CRP but payment amounts will decrease. Also it looks like the giant farms will get to start getting payments for nephews and cousins to get around the $125,000 max payment. Even if they live across the country they can claim to do bookwork and such for the farms
