I can't reckon this with anything I've ever seen. I can only see an unimproved property having no deer vs some magical buck population (up by me anyway). The guys that go hunt deep in the public land will sit for days and not even see brown. Wouldn't that be the same he's calling for here?

Mission accomplished if you are confused now. Pick up the phone and get him over to straighten your mess up.

My neighbor had Sturgis write a plan for him a few years ago and was not overly impressed.

If population is high, probably not the case for many of us

I like lots of does by my stands since it's just a matter of time until a nice buck shows up to breed them in the rut. That works well for me as long as you can enter and exit stands without spooking any deer.
What works in southern MN or WI could be the opposite of what works in northern MN or WI, so any video would be wrong to about 1/2 of the potential viewers.

Funny, but I venture to guess I have seen more Daylight low fence bucks then he has, and ever will. And we have piles of doe's on every property in the area.

It seems like he is talking in circles.
It is also very evident that he does not understand the situations in central Mn Ag country or in Minnesota northwoods.

Spent alot of time trout fishing on the back side of the property Jeff is at in this video. Great hunting spot on the edge of town. The back side is a conservation club that sees plenty of pressure. He is in the middle of a high pressure area and a town along a big ridgeline. Of course hunting is good!

That's just south of coon valley, isn't it? In jeffs book he referenced having a lease there and there there's a property there with similar looking plots.

I grew up on hwy 14 half way between westby and Viroqua. The whole county is good hunting and seems to be kicking out some real monsters the last 5 years

Yup^^^ I have been past that property and likely trout fish in the same streams as snowracer. If you are not killing(or at the very least seeing) nice bucks down in that area with at least some kind of regularity, you don't know what the hell you are doing. My co-workers family owns 2 farms west of there towards the big river and they kill a hog at least every other year or so and they do nothing special other than show up in the woods.
I think the title of the video should be "Sturgis: Monkey fuck factory"
