^. Yep....that is one very nice feature. I cannot tell you how many times it's come in handy for land tours.....and hunting. Actually rides pretty good.....and most have commented how well it sits folks in the back. I'd buy a Pioneer again. The 500 seems to have enough grunt for anything I need. I do wish it had power steering.....but it's not a huge deal for me. It would be for SD. I think they now offer PS.

I bought my 2007 grizzly 450 in 2009. Paid 4700 before tax.
The 2009s were pushing 6k. No brainer.
I called yamaha HQ and asked them to do an inventory search in MN and WI. They said Delano had it in stock. I called them and they said no they didnt.... i said Yammie corp says you do. Sure enough.... the sales guy found it.... ponder that a moment... wtf. I bought it over the phone on the way to my daighters mite hockey jamboree in Mora while driving there.
My wife asked me... what did you just do?
Bought me a new atv for a song.... and full warranty.
My Dads 2007 Rhino(Side by side) 450 he got new in 2009... he paid 6499 before tax from Heinens in Osseo. I found that one as well doing my whore deal searches.

I have a Honda UTV and a Kawa 4 Wheeler. The UTV is not quite as nimble and takes more to turn around. But the ablity to ride with another sitting side by side is pretty nice. The bed in my Honda Pioneer 500 also converts to haul 4 people. around. This is really a nice feature during hunting season and for a land tour, etc. Nice for hauling gear too - chainsaws, wood, tools etc. With an ATV you are always strapping stuff down......where a UTV allows you to just put it in the box and go. I really like getting behind the windsheild for protection from brush on trails. If you want to drive one......make a drive to my place. Compare. Man Foggy, I just saw a Pioneer with the back seats folded up for back seat riding and I like that feature! I didn’t do enough research I guess before I bought my Ranger this spring I guess. That would have been nice for my family of 5! Oh dear... u bought a Po Po? 😁

But that Pioneer May have swayed my opinion

DD dont tell anyone but if I got a smokin deal on a PO PO I might take it too.
My friends call me the deal whore... no joke. My loyalty goes only so far.... thankfully my Yammie deals have trumped any PO PO deals. 👊

And I’ll say I should do a side by side test as I think my turning radius on the Ranger in turf mode is as good as my wheeler

you can get a foreman with a 100 miles on it for $5k. $9k for a new one? When the time comes to start looking, I will reward with a handsome cash finders fee if you can find that deal. Start looking at big dealers that have 2018 left overs. As stated you will save thousands. Also check as I think Honda has very low financing going on now. Best time to buy is Aug/Sept when new models come out.

Close! That one doesn't have power steering, It's got the wrong rear suspension, and it's not time yet. I'm really liking this idea of a finders fee competition though.

Power steering should not be a deal breaker.......
I have never owned power steering and never needed it... noce to have? Sure. Necessary? Nope.

Power steering IS NEEDED if you got 400 lbs of flail mower hanging on the front end. Dont buy one without it. Go drive some UTV's and do some tire kicking at a big dealer.....it will pay off.
