I feel like we've been down this road so many times, the beer cans are mounding in the ditch.

Can you mow the lawn with it?

Absolutely. Is it a golf course cut? No. I mow the yard around our 80+ year old dilapitated farm house all summer with it.
Are you looking to mow a lawn with a flail? yikes.

My garage space cost $51/sq foot. A pull behind mower like that would take up 30 square feet of that space. 30' x $51/ft = $1538 in space capital. The opportunity cost of that space for that mower would be $153/year. Can't do it man.
My mower would take up 10 square feet at a cost of $510 in space capital and an annual opportunity cost of $51. So my mower would generate a $102 dividend every year I have it and at a risk adjusted rate of return of 4%, that would yield me an equivalent investment or savings of $2,550 thus bridging the cost between a single purpose swisher and a total tool Rammy Flail.
Watch this thing cut grass.

I park all my food plot shit in a field. About 5 cents a square foot.
Storage container is $11 a square foot.

Here is what I do. I park the Swisher on the back 40 in the woods, tarp it and leave it all summer. Do you plan to host Wedding receptions at the stabbin cabin or trying to attract a PGA event?

I don't understand why the 3 point flail mowers cost so much. Doesn't seem like they should cost any more then a tiller.

I park my rotary cutter outside.....but I do take the drive shaft in. No big deal. I suppose you could cover it up.....but why?
