^Thats what I was thinking. I have prairie grass with a destination food plot of corn and soybeans and nice bucks enter the field the last 15 min of shooting time. Maybe there is a hot doe around?

The big game Director told me in an email she would support moving the season back one week, if there’s statewide support. I said you would be a hero!!

From what I'm seeing there, there's barely 70% who support having an "increased number of antlered bucks"?

^Those results contradict each other. Mostly they want more deer but they also want cross tagging, how does that work?
Mob mentality at best, serious hunters will not win with these type of hunters.

How many NR come here and archery hunt? Not many I am guessing? That would change if we moved the season back. Not that I want more hunters, but the DNR would have more revenue.

Screw NR hunters, how about getting more residents to bow hunt? While I don't want any more pressure, if more residents bow hunted then we'd likely have regulations that leaned towards those interests. Personally, I'd like to see gun hunter numbers shrink and see those hunters shifting to the ranks of the archery hunters. That alone would likely impact the quality of bucks in many parts of MN.

Stu I agree. But the DNR looks for $$$ reasons. I wish MN was archery only😊😄

WTF is that second chart? Nice easy to understand chart. Typical DNR reporting. baffle people with bullshit.
Just fucking say X % supports this or doesnt support the idea.

If I remember right, there are less than 2000 non-res archers. It may even be as low as 800-1200. I just can't think of it right now. If they analyzed how many don't hunt private, I bet it'd be under a couple dozen.

Iowa has 12,000 archery applications at over $500, and only takes 6000. All of November to bow hunt without a gun season. It’s nirvana.

Heck, I'd be happy with this later start every other year instead of every 5 years. That doesn't seem unreasonable to me
