am/fm, cloth bench seat, silent roll down windows, rear view mirrors. Cost me about $200. Truly one of the most comfortable blinds you can spend a day in. Great spot for a nap. I painted a Pentahex on the other door so the neighbors new I would turn a nasty spell on them if they ever looked at my shit. I was waiting for this one. I don’t think my brother will go for that but, I’ll show him.

here is mine, 6x6 like exeryone says always go bigger, wish now it was 8x8. 6x6 is fine with me and two kids but was hoping it would be comfortable with 4 of us, and it can be but will be tight. I looked at commercial stands but being in the middle of the woods with deer coming from everywhere I didn't like the window options they had and wanted windows nearly all the way around. My windows are not perfect but were fine for this season and I need better pictures of them What are those walls made of?

They are made of LP Smartside I highly recommend it, has stuff in it to resist decay and comes pre-primed LP® SmartSide® Panel Siding/Soffit is a treated engineered wood product that's more durable, stable and consistent than traditional wood panels. It's easy to recommend for light commercial, shed and residential applications that require a premium look and the toughness to combat extreme weather. The SmartGuard® manufacturing process improves upon nature, creating products that are engineered for strength, performance and protection against decay and termites. This panel may be applied over sheathed walls or, where building codes permit, directly to wall studs that have adequate corner bracing and are spaced no greater than 16" on center. A house wrap or weather-resistant barrier is required for installation. www.menards.com/main/building-materials/siding/engineered-wood-siding/lp-reg-smartside-reg-7-16-textured-no-groove-fiber-panel-siding/25926/p-1444438202047-c-5827.htm?tid=-1626084635510130943&ipos=8

I’m going to be building some blinds this year. What height is right and do see an advantage of planting posts and building a platform verses uses the 4x4 with the angled steel brackets? Id also like to see photos of any homemade blinds verses the store bought. Elevator brackets and I set my 4x4 post on a 12"x12" paver. I have 2 blinds the shadow hunter is 21' the other 10'. 6-10' would be ideal for bow, higher for rifle.

My only box stand has elevator brackets. The stand has two blind sides where deer seldom approach from. How does a box stand work in the woods where deer can approach from all sides? Or hinge cut to create barriers over a funnel? ^ this actually creates an interesting question. I pretty much prefer to hunt about 180 degrees....more or less. If I get into a stand that is 360 degree view ......and the deer can come from any direction.....it becomes more to watch than I like. Other opinions? What's your best angles? (or as Wolfman Jack said: Baby if you got the curves......I got the angles".). .

Thank you Lee. That’s the style I’m thinking of except I was going to have a 2’ extension off one end for a landing deck to get into the hut. What type of windows are in it? Do they flip up on the inside? Has anyone here used the Deerview windows? The seem cheap enough in price. Would you go with clear or tinted glass?

I prefer the clear. If it's cold or windy you can keep them closed and see better with the clear.

For you guys who purchased the visors for the Redneck Blinds did you buy one horizontal and two vertical sets for the each blind? Does that just leave the door without a blind?
Seems like they would sell a complete kit per unit.
