Any thoughts where you’ll be moving to Tooln? Will you be plotting there?

So are you getting out of the deer, deer habitat, and deer hunting game completely then? No just scaling way back. A lot depends on where and what we end up with.

We are looking in the Prairie du Chien area, or just across the river into Iowa. The 40 is going for sale, I currently have a good offer but am in no hurry. Depending on what we find plotting is guestionable. I've always been fixing stuff and welding was a part of it. I plan to get a CNC water table plasma cutter. Do welding repair, light fabricatuon, make signs, yard art and other stuff. I look at this being something I can do year round at my own pace and make a few bucks along the way. The wife enjoys painting so she be involved in that part. We'll get a shit load of stuff ready to sell, pack the truck and trailer and travel to small country fairs, flee markets and such, set up a table and sell. Since the wife's a looker she'll be good at the sales end of it. I don't plan on leaving here, shit I may even be able to sell you something. Yep Tom we go back many years, never meet but have talked to each other a few times and I consider you a friend as I do many others of you here. I hope this answers everyone's questions.

Here's a sample of things I want to cut out of steel. Black, stainless or aluminum. Use as a sign, put a name on it and use as a mailbox top. Design are unlimited.

A guy down the road from me (in MN) used to operate a "welding shop". Did repair work mostly. Then he went in to doing "metal art". Goes to flea markets and sells signs and such like you're proposing. Does real well and now does little repair welding....unless he is slow in the metal art. He did learn how to do various colors in metal via acid etch. He seems to do allot of fish.....and can pull off some exotic colors. Also does American flags etc. My wife and I call him the Artist formerly known as Welder. .
