So I just discovered this is a thing. Pert near certain there will be one of these headed for camp if I can figure out how I want to rig it up. Runs on 1 lbs propane tank? 1 lb or 20 lb if you get the adaptor.

I run my dual burner camp stove off of a 20LB bottle. I love it. This, and a separate single burner for boiling stuff, would be a sweet setup.

I can do all I need to with a cast iron frying pan when it's just me, Bob, and one other person. When head count starts going up, I need some surface area so breakfast doesn't take 2 hours.

This is the industrial cookstove/oven I use now. I need to figure out if the fitting that brings gas to this thing can also bring gas to this mini-blackstone.

Holy smokes, that ain't a bad deal. The 17" with a cover looks to run $110-115 all in, so not bad at all. I keep coming back to this swapping lines deal with my current burner, but the more I think about it, I may just get one of these quick connect hoses instead. I'd have to drag a 20lb tank in to use it, but it beats the shit out of hooking and unhooking my burner, and I'd want to be able to use this out in the garage as well for when it's hotter outside and I don't want to fire up the weber. The ship times on these things are for shit though. I might have to order it now just to get it by October as well.

Pretty sweet at only 12,000 BTU. That thing will run for 30 hours wide open on a 20lb tank.

OK.....so I am wondering......why not just put a cast iron plate on your gas grill.......and save a few $$. Been looking at Cast Iron Lodge Plate for like $35 or so (depending on size). What's wrong with this picture?
