OK.....so I am wondering......why not just put a cast iron plate on your gas grill.......and save a few $$. Been looking at Cast Iron Lodge Plate for like $35 or so (depending on size). What's wrong with this picture? I've only got one burner. I don't know how I'd keep something like that from falling off, unless there is one out there with legs high enough to suspend it over the burner. Now I've gotta take a look at this, cause that could be doable with some savvy brick stacking. **** I think we've got a winner here. There's a 10" x 20" on Amazon. My burner is 4 3/4" high. Two paver bricks stacked are exactly 4 3/4" from the nards.

Get yourself a man size griddle. Mine goes in the garage in the winter and I have the best smelling garage in town.

The cast iron griddle also fits well on a turkey frier burner. I would say that for the cost of the parts you'd be better off just buying the purpose made griddle unless you already had everything laying around except the cast iron part.

Yep, that had gone right over my head foggy. Cast iron is the best in my opinion. You won't go wrong with it.

Breakfast. A little bacon, a little beef stick, some whole, some chopped into the omelette. Mushroom, tots, onion, and garlic. Top the inner omelette with some Swiss, and I had the cat licking the plate while I was eating.
