Broke the 10 inch mark on a bluegill 1 time in my life. Right at 10 inches. If you are allowed to fold the tail(which we never used to do), I have two over 10 inches this year. Caught one bluegill on each trip.

The youngest is currently a fishing fool. Yanking lip and actually learning quite a bit. Mnfish, I just noticed your boat is a Pond King pontoon. I've been researching them quite a bit. I think a 2 to 4 person pontoon with a foot controlled trolling motor would be perfect to keep on the pond for fishing. How do you like yours? Kit or complete? How does it handle wind? Wind is the biggest fight on our place... makes it impossible to quit rowing long enough fish much. Hard to work a weed line like that.

What I can say is we love it for our use. Stable as hell with two big drunk guys. Sits high in the water and goes thru very shallow water. All aluminum construction including the decking....zero maintenance....had it for 8-9 years and looks like the day I bought it

Thanks for the info on the boat. I think one of those would be perfect on our pond.
The wife said that bass was 22 inches long. Didn't get a weight but like you said... it had a huge bucket on her. The 12yr old has decided he has to catch a 10lb'r. Those are really rare but I like watching him study (he's reading fishing articles and watching youtube) and try to figure it out.

That's a giant largemouth and a slab bluegill.
I should probably go fishing.

I was on the lake before sunrise and caught over a dozen bass( none as big as cats). I finally found the bluegills, but dang it was hot and I was glad to go home and not clean fish,

This dude has a bigger youtube following than Angelica Larssen. Tons of cool videos of him feeding catfish, turtles, and bass. Unreal the devastation...

The kid caught a few more nice bass this afternoon. Been some good fishing considering how hot it is. Ever see a bass shaped like this one? Kind of odd look to it!?!
