That looks good. The mature buckwheat seed should provide some nice food for roosters or turkeys. I never had much deer usage in my buckwheat plots during the fall, but the birds loved it.

I sure like the looks of a nice stand of buckwheat. ^^ You got a great stand. My deer seem to eat it.....but it's too expensive to plant for what I get out of it. I suppose if I ran a bee ranch I would plant more.....the bees absolutely love that stuff.

I always enjoyed BW more than anything else I ever planted. I had so much ag around me that the BW offered something different. Deer eat the shit out of it. I miss plotting.
