I don't see the protests/riots helping Trump any. People that were/are going to vote for him will do so. People who weren't gonna vote for him before the riots won't be voting for him now either.
Today in the town east of me I saw a few "Anybody but Trump" signs. While I don't think that's the majority opinion in that community, those signs do reflect what a lot of people think. Trump needs to focus on the fence sitters/moderates. The latest couple TV ads Trump is running here do not focus on the points they should be focusing on (IMHO).

If I was on the fence and watching these riots and listening to liberals tell me they support it I would vote Trump thinking no way I want to go farther down that road.

At this point I don't there are many fence sitters... I am on vacation with our best friends. They hate Trump and Biden and are at the point they don’t even want to vote. They were at the same spot 4 years ago and I convinced them to give Trump a chance. No way they are voting for trump again. It doesn’t matter in NY but I think there are millions like them in states that do matter. They are Democrats by nature but really hate the options they have been given the last two elections. Unfortunately one is a teacher and they really hate trump.

IMO....their hatred comes from some of the stuff he said on tape....like grab 'em by the Pussy. They cannot get past some of his language and statements. I do get that.....but they are blinded by words. I agree words matter......but they are confused on political ideology. Not sure anyone is gonna change on those issues at this point. Trump says some stupid stuff......but have you heard Biden lately? I'm going for political ideals over the personality issues.

Trump says mean things. All about feelings these days. Pussification of America. His policies have been pretty much on point. How one can possibly vote for a dementia patient is beyond me.

Not sure what being a teacher has to do with hating Trump. Seems like there are plenty of people out there who aren't teachers that are hung up on some of the things he has said. I think somewhere around 90% of the teachers I know voted for Trump the first time around and are very likely to vote policies rather than emotion... which means they will probably vote for him again. I don't honestly know though as I haven't been asking. I'm really kind of sick of all of it at the moment.

Yes, and it is strongly democratic. Many teachers I know are not part of the union, many who are part only enrolled for protections against wrongful termination. Nobody wants to loose their job because they didn't play little Jimmy in the basketball game (when little Jimmy skips practice a lot and sucks, but his dad is a board member). It could just be a midwest bible belt thing where most people are conservative and Republican.

WI teacher unions are largely democratic I’d imagine. Maybe Stu would know more. Most teachers I know in the state are dems.

I can only report what I've seen from my little part of the world. KS is a very Republican state, and lists around 40th in the country for teacher pay. Its hard to get teachers to come here, so maybe we are all just homegrown conservatives with no foreigners stepping in to change things.

LA? Really Foggy? Please don't put Cali or Oregon out there as examples... I wouldn't do that to you northerners.

Minnesota and Wisconsin are union and historically Democratic states. Historically that has not been a risk like it is today as the Democratic Party doesn’t represent what it use to represent. The current Democratic Party stresses me out as they could undermine the values I believe in and undermine the economic system I have worked so hard to prosper in.

All I have seen is shit made up by the liberal media and dem leaders that has never gone anywhere. What our president is guilty of is speaking his mind, that’s it.
