One thing that comes with a good job is allot of work, particularly anybody who exchanges hours for dollars. Companies have leaned out everything to the point where there are allot of demands on workers. like allot of us on this board I have went to work in the dark and came home in the dark, traveled and sacrificed time for money. When I was younger it did not bother me so much but I have less time to give and more money than time so i am ready for a change. I don't want to wish my life away and i don't want to leave a job I earned but sometime soon I won't be working for someone else anymore. Bingo!! Pretty much sums up my life as well.

If you work hard, and most of us have, we should be able to sit back and enjoy life. But its very tough coming from working a lot to just shutting it off and doing something else. More money then time left on earth hits it on the head for a lot of us right now. For me, you can't get more of a 180 then going from what I have done in my life to sitting by a pool on a golf course in AZ........almost sounds fucked up.

I had my share of working emergencies at night and also regular duty the day before and the day after. I am glad it is done. With small producers, if I was doing emergency work like a calving at night, they were up with me. We both worked the day before and after and had lots of respect and friendship in both directions. With a large producer and night emergencies, he was in bed, his Mexican vets were in bed and off duty, and I had to do the night emergencies with someone who couldn’t speak English. That just didn’t sit too well with me.

I believe BLB is facing that right now, offshore employees to the point there is little to no staff left in the country.

Walz said yesterday he won't "turn the dial" anymore because outstate Minnesotans aren't following his tyrannical rules. Guess what buddy...you ain't gonna get anymore compliance by continuing to be the douchebag you are.

Walz's narc squad hit the L.P. Legion last weekend. They were having a bags tournament and live music, with all profits going to vets (most going to the Eagle's Nest in Sauk Centre I believe). The narcs bitched enough so that no employees can wear "Trump 2020" masks now. No other "violations" were found...just hurt feelings. That's what has become of this shit hole state
