I just spent some time looking at stories on "yahoo" news. Disgusting stuff. Then tried "Fox' news.....still disgusting stuff. I have never seen so many vulgar and hateful crimes being instigated against my fellow man in my lifetime. Makes me sick. I cannot watch this kinda news much longer. Wow.....just wow......how humankind has sunk to such chit.

I'm with you Foggy. The truth is that our nation is in a downward spiral but there are many counties that are way shitty'r with death and mutilation common place. What gets me is the degradation of OUR norms. We are better than this, but turning on each other with distrust and hatred is now commonplace. I make no secret that I distrust the media. I think the big news media are instigators and liers meant to tear us apart.

I havent watched news or read news since March.
I do see it and hear it in passing.
Life is much better not even hearing the bullshit.

As a Christian I know the bible says (and I believe it's true) the world will only get worse as time goes on but never could I believe how quickly it's gotten to where it's at. Thought I'd be dead and gone before some of this stuff started happening. Really feel bad for anybody with children growing up in these times.

There will be long term damage to what is occurring in the country. I don’t know how businesses in cities like Minneapolis can be salvaged let alone grow. Unfortunately I see Minneapolis trending towards Detroit unless something drastically changes.
In the short run I don’t see any reason why consumers would go downtown for dinner or sporting events.

If we could make it work tomorrow, Mrs Kooch and I would bail for SD. The kids still need our house as a home base while they are in College. Once they launch, were out. I don't like what's happening.

It is intended chaos to change the projection of an election. The big cities have been shitty for year, but they stepped it up to make our leadership appear poor. Personally I just see Democratic run cities as shitholes, and I am glad I do not live in those cities. My little town of 1300 people with a blue water lake looks great every day!

I have made my last trip to Minneapolis/St Paul. I will never go there again. Mark my words. My last trip was to a Vikes game last fall. Thats it. I am done.

I can hardly wait to move out of the city, it can't come soon enough. I ran in to two of my neighbors this weekend. My wife and I were out on the golf cart and my "large Farmer" neighbor was out mowing the corners of his fields so we stopped and chatted. He was running a JD 6117 I believe and he looked like a man who was exactly where he was meant to be. Third generation farmer, successful, enjoying the land he has known his whole life. We talked about retirement and he said he will die farming. He has three daughters he travels to see but he likes home the best. He is in the process of reducing the number of acres he farms, currently at 2000 down from a peak of 5000. We talked a little bit and he thought what is happening today was somewhat similar to the Vietnam era. Maybe he is right and the country will go through this rocky period and come out of it without to much damage. Lets hope so.

The New house at the farm is nearing completion and we couldn't be happier. Turkeytown farms filed its first tax return this year. We r so excited to be done wit the city life and official farmers now!!!!

Full time in Zona in your future? I’ll be a resident but won’t live there year round. Where we spend our summers is still to be determined. Right about now I’m in the less is more camp. Currently work and to many other responsibilities is consuming all our time. We need to simplify our lives for certain. Will OZ turn full time for you?
