Well we're getting more serious now been working with a builder drawing up some plans, turned into more of a patio home than a barndo, waiting on a rough estimate to see if we're really out of our minds

Price of lumber might shock you.
Curious to see how bad it is.

I forgot about this thread. I'll be watching closely as one of the small footprint options on the bardominium website could work well for the initial dwelling at Nassau Deluxe.

Price of lumber might shock you. Curious to see how bad it is. Price of lumber has come down a lot in last couple months About time. Been waiting to build a 20 x 20 slate or granite indoor driving range where MN residents can take a shot and then smash a golfball as hard as they can. If you dont get a bruise you get a free shot.

We play a game called "barn golf". Drinking and bruising is often involved.

I’m building a blind this winter but will be using 2x3 for framing. They are still reasonable. I should go get some before they get ridiculous. Plywood is also on sale for $32 down from $40.

I've been looking at building some mats outta lumber for my swamp trail project this summer. The more I look at this stuff, the more i'm thinking of just going to get some of my ash logs and have my neighbor slab them for me. He's right across the road and has a portable mill. It'd probably take less time and less money and work as good or better than what I could stick build.
